He’s big. He’s green. He’s grumpy. And somehow he’s Santa.

Brogan is perfectly happy guarding the goal for the Emerald Enforcers. He has no interest in spreading Christmas cheer, posing for pictures, or letting small children tug on his beard.

Unfortunately, no one asked him.

When a charity event leaves them desperate for a last-minute Santa, the veteran goalie finds himself stuffed into a red suit and paired with Holly, the ridiculously cheerful—and ridiculously tempting—elf in charge of making sure he behaves.

Holly knows Brogan would rather face a dozen slap shots than another round of Ho, ho, ho. But beneath the scowls and complaints, her grumpy Santa has a surprisingly soft heart. And the more holiday events they survive together, the harder it becomes to remember that she's only supposed to be sitting beside him, not fantasizing about sitting on his lap.
